Welcome Letter: from the Honorable Chief Judge of the Provincial Court

Annual Report: The Annual Report for 2009 entitled "ON THE EDGE" has been released.  It contains a statistical analysis of the past 9 years of the Court's operation, showing continuing high rates of retention and completion and a low rate of recidivism.

Evaluation: A significant addition to the evaluative research of the Saint John Mental Health Court by the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, University of New Brunswick John entitled "Representing the Client Perspective of the Saint John Mental Health Court" which can be found by clicking here

Team Members: In January 2009, Cherry Gabrial and Jennifer Dwyer joined the Mental Health Court Tea. With his untimely death in December, we lost a valued strong supporter, Robert Dickison of the Salvation Army.

Recent Study: The Centre for Criminal Justice Studies (Campbell and Smith) University of New Brunswick-Saint John completed a study of the public perception of Mental Health Courts using the S.J.M.H.C as a model. Details in the 2009 Annual Report.

Saint John Mental Health Court  website was opened to public on  Nov 14th, 2003.

The site was officially opened by the Chief Judge Camille Dumas.
